Conte to Chelsea - Confirmed

Chelsea has finally found a manager who'll lead them from now on. Antonio Conte has signed a 3 year contract with Chelsea F.C. 

Currently managing the Itlay International side, Conte would manage Chelsea after the Euro 2016. 

Conte said - " I'm very excited about joining this new club and I can't wait to meet the new players and take up every day challenge in the matches I'll play in the Premier League " 

After Gianluca Vialli, Claudio Ranieri, Carlo Ancelotti and Roberto Di Matteo- Antonio Conte will be the fifth Italian to manage Chelsea.

Conte played 400 games with Juventus for three years from 2011 – 2014 and won the Serie A league title for consecutive three years . Juventus won that league after eight years and straight three titles 

after 1930. Before Conte, Juventus ended up at 7^th position in the league for two years.

Conte also helped Juvnetus winning the Italian Super Cup. Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba, Arturo Vidal and Carlos Tevez turned out to be the successful transfers and he also won the Serie A coach of the year for three seasons at a stretch.

This summer will be a reconstruction of the Stamford Bridge and building up the Chelsea Football Club again for the heights it deserves to be at.  Jose Mourinho when signed for the club for the second time, he was not able to win any title for the Chelsea that season(2013), but the next season was totally about Jose Mourinho and Chelsea as they won every title other than Champions League but this season,  Chelsea was a total disgrace and the fans were totally disappointed with their performance and Chelsea needed to change their manager and finally they have made a great decision .

Conte usually applies 3-5-2 which was successfully played by Juventus but he is well aware of the tactics to switch to 4-3-3 and is famous for doing so more often. And because of this ability he has lost just 18 games out of 147 as a manager since joining Juventus in 2011.

He believes that rather than forcing players to fit into his tactics, he tries to adapt according to the skills and styles of the player and let the player play according to his own abilities so that the player could give his best in any match situation. Skysports

Conte’s contract with Italy will expire after Euro 2016 and after that he’ll come to coach Chelsea.

First Chelsea was expected to sign Josep Guardiola, then the scale ticked in Massimiliano Allergi’s favour, then Diego Simeone , Jorge Sampaoli and Mauricio Pochettino but Conte was written in Chelsea’s fate and it’s hopefully a great one that they have a world class manager on their side who have the potential to get the team back on winning terms. Although, Chelsea have shown a great performance in 2016 as they were undefeated since the starting of this year under Guus Hiddink but are lacking 10 points to Manchester City who are at fourth place with just 7 matches left to play. After they faced loss against Paris Saint Germain in Champions League and Everton in FA Cup left them with no hope to win any trophy this season.

Chelsea will expect Conte to show the magic which he displayed with the Italian giants Juventus as he won three leagues straight.

Signing Antonio Conte is useless – Chris Sutton

According to Chris Sutton, Conte is just similar to Jose Mourinho who got sacked in December.

Whereas two of the former Chelsea players Andy Townse and Pat Nevin. As they said, Conte is a great signing for Chelsea. At least Chelsea won’t face such hard time as they faced under Mourinho's 
supervision. Chelsea remained at 16^th position for a long time.

In fact, as it happened earlier when Mourinho arrived at Chelsea players were excited to play with him and his tactics were intense which moved Chelsea to heights might be repeated again with the arrival of Conte.

He has been a one system manager, people have said but Nevin denied and said, it’s nothing like that, he has been an adaptable manager from like always.

First of many jobs that Conte will have to deal with when he comes to Stamford Bridge is to decide future of John Terry at Chelsea as his contract expires this summer and if Conte applies 3-5-2, then John Terry might not be needed and might not play for next 12 months. But, it’s yet to be decided who’ll come and who’ll go .
